The EcoSunTec 3 Way Infrared heater with its special "PTC Ceramic Heating Plate" will never rise to any unsafe level that can ignite anything.
The "Temperature Limiting Control" (TLC) safety feature within the unit will shut off the infrared heater if the filter is overly dirty or the air flow is blocked.
The EcoSunTec infrared heater comes with a "Tip Over Safety Feature" If the EcoSunTec Moist Air Purifying Infrared Heater unit is tipped over the power will automatically shut off. Return it to its level position and it will resume at the pre-set default Temperature Setting .
